The tree-nursery Heinrich Gätjens was founded in the year 1906 and named after its founder Heinrich Gätjens.
In 1977 the company was carried on by his sons up to 2001.
Since then Andreas Gätjens is the CEO of the renamed tree-nursery Andreas Gätjens Baumschulen .
